Prior to his work in technology and marketing, Erik served as a United States Marine Corps Scout Sniper, followed by over a decade supporting U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of State operations as a high-threat protection contractor and Designated Defensive Marksman (DDM) across multiple Middle East operational environments. He later served as a firearms and training instructor, responsible for preparing personnel on deployment in high-risk environments. This operational background informs his approach to product design and messaging, grounding technical and marketing decisions in real-world mission requirements.
